The Shift Coordinator assists the House Supervisor in performing administrative and supervisory functions for the Journey of Hope (UC-Unaccompanied Children) Shelter Program. Functioning as a shift leader, the Shift Coordinator is responsible for ensuring adequate staffing in accordance with regulatory requirements and for developing and implementing daily programing that promotes a secure, safe, healthy, trauma informed environment for the children in care. The Shift Coordinator serves as a mentor for new Youth Care Workers (YCW) and assists with training as needed.
