Our workshop guides participants through understanding and maximizing opportunities under two key federal programs, the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
SBIR is a federal program that provides early stage research and development funding to small technology companies or individuals who will be developing a product and company.
Similarly, STTR supports small businesses teaming up with nonprofit research entities, such as universities.
Our workshop will provide an overview of the SBIR and STTR programs, including important recent changes coming from the programs' recent reauthorization.
Our experienced presenters will share insights and an effective, four-step strategy for creating competitive proposals for all program stages that emphasize commercialization, the key component of a winning proposal.
