SUMMARY:Small Business Innovation Research Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Our workshop guides participants through understanding and maximizing opportunities under two key federal programs\, the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.\n\n\n\nSBIR is a federal program that provides early stage research and development funding to small technology companies or individuals who will be developing a product and company.\n\n\n\nSimilarly\, STTR supports small businesses teaming up with nonprofit research entities\, such as universities.\n\n\n\nOur workshop will provide an overview of the SBIR and STTR programs\, including important recent changes coming from the programs' recent reauthorization.\n\n\n\nOur experienced presenters will share insights and an effective\, four-step strategy for creating competitive proposals for all program stages that emphasize commercialization\, the key component of a winning proposal.\n\n\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\n\nCourse subsidy provided courtesy of Idea Foundry.\n\n\n\nIndividual\, 20-minute proposal review consultations are available\n\nbetween 12:40 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. on a first to sign-up basis.\n\n\n\nPlease email amliebschutz@dmgs.com after completing\n\nregistration to reserve your session.
