Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with prospective applicants
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
- Conduct pre-interview activities including administration of candidate testing
- Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources (Ex. LinkedIn, indeed, etc.) to identify and recruit candidates.
- Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about organization and position.
- Screens and refers candidates for additional interview with others in organization
- Coordinate, schedule, and attend various career fairs including colleges and trade schools.
- Makes public presentations at schools and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
