    Attention Skilled Labor Persons in the area of Greater Pittsburgh, PA (Retirees Affirmatively Encouraged as well) -
    Pittsburgh/Penn Hills/Rochester/Sutersville/Mt. Pleasant/Canonsburg.
    Are you tired of inconsistent and back-breaking work?

    Job Title: Driver of Roll-Off Dumpsters, with a smaller, residential-friendly, single-axle truck

    Note: You do NOT need a CDL to drive for us! We will train.
    If you can drive a large pick-up Truck, then you can drive our trucks.
    Many of our drivers never possessed a CDL before; and they do very well!

    First 60 Calendar day "Evaluation Period" paid at $14/hour, after which pay-rate increases to $17/hr. 401K eligibility (after 1 year). $500 Sign-on Bonus after 90 days.

    Job Description: Delivery and pick up 6 - 20 yard roll off dumpsters for construction /household debris.
    Terms of Employment: 30-35 hrs per week. 30 day rotating schedule: (Mon/Tue/Wed...then next month Thur/Fri/Sat, etc.).
    Seasonal, Temp/Part-time: This means, expect layoff Dec, Jan and Feb, then return to work in March 1st
    Anticipated Start Dates: Approx March 15, 2021; April 15, 2021 and May 15, 2021
    Licensing/Certification: No CDL needed. Requires a Current commercial DOT driver's medical card; if you don't have one, you will need to get one (cost about $80)

    Travel: Company truck is provided

    • Must be at least 25 years of age or older, with Clean driving record
    • Professional attitude and appearance a must
    • Must be able to speak, read, and write English well enough to represent company in a professional manner, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records
    • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position
    • Some commercial vehicle operation experience preferable
    • Must have good understanding of local area and neighborhoods
    *** On-boarding Requires Criminal History Background check; MVR record screening also performed
    Must be able to pass 12-panel drug screening

    Specific Skills: Operate and drive lift trucks to transport trash, Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Utilize atlases and other electronic trip planning aids, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform some minor preventive maintenance.
    Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service. Handle inquiries from customers. Experience in construction industry is an asset.
    Preferred: Prefer candidates who have familiarity with smart-phones.
    401K (after 1 year).
