ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
- Knowledge of payroll processes and procedures, filing and record keeping procedures.
- Professional business office principles and practice.
- Process payroll data and related work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Learn and effectively utilize automated payroll programs and other software and/or computerized systems as required.
- Enter data and type with reasonable speed and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.
- Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a stressful environment.
- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to represent ideas effectively, concisely, and accurately, both orally and in writing in a professional manner.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Work weekends and holidays as needed to meet payroll processing deadlines.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Competent in using payroll processing software.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 30 college credits or business certificate in finance, accounting, business administration,
- OR High school Diploma and at least 1 year of experience in payroll, finance, accounting or bookkeeping.
- MUST BE FULLY COVID-19 VACCINATED
