Safer Driver Program

Employers share the costs of motor vehicle collisions with government, insurers, and crash victims.

$24K per non-injury crash
$128K per injury crash
$3.8M per fatality
20% of costs whether the collision occurred on-the-job or not

Learning objectives:

  • Assess behaviors related to driving
  • Apply a risk reduction process to control hazards
  • Develop an action plan for safer driving

Safer Van & High Profile Vehicle Program

Learning objectives:

  • Recognize the leading cause of van collisions
  • Describe van dynamics
  • Recognize the risk from drinking and driving
  • Describe how to back-up, stop and turn a van safely
  • Describe how to conduct a pre-trip inspection.
