The Chamber has expanded our event programming to meet the diverse interests of our members. Check out these special areas to see if they may help you meet a particular need.
-
Women’s Interest Network: Several times throughout the year the chamber organizes exclusive opportunities for women in business to help foster success in the areas of leadership, personal and professional development. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas, network, and showcase your business to other women in the business community.
-
Honorary Commanders Program: This program is a cooperative effort of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, the 911th Airlift Wing, 171st Air National Guard, and 316th Sustainment Command. The Honorary Commanders Association annually selects community and business leaders and pairs them with military commanders in a yearlong program, giving those leaders the opportunity to learn more about local military activities, their impact on our economy and various aspects of the national defense system.
-
Ambassador Program: Chamber Ambassadors are a special group of people who volunteer their time to help promote Airport Area businesses and support Chamber functions.
-
Small Business Initiatives: It’s not easy to start or grow a business! That’s why the Chamber has developed numerous programs and resources to help you succeed. Contact the Chamber to get more information about these programs and services.

CHOICES: CHOICES is an interactive, decision-making workshop that empowers teens to achieve academic success in pursuit of their career and life aspirations. In two 50-minute sessions, local business and community volunteers take students through real-world exercises on academic self-discipline, time and money management, and goal setting. Teens discover that they can take charge of their lives. If you’d like to volunteer as a business role model in the classroom, we could use your help! Contact Tai
Sherman at the Chamber to learn more about an upcoming training session.
We thank our 2010-11 CHOICES contributors - Parkhurst Corporation, Heinz Endowments, Heritage Valley Care Health Systems, and Sam's Club
