2010 Distinguished Award Recipients
Mike Hall, General Rental Center - , For anyone who has ever attended the Wine & Dine event in past years, the secret behind how awesome it looked was Mike Hall. Throughout the years Mike always exceeded the chamber’s expectations in making this event grow and flow. Thanks to Mike’s vision and inspiration, countless hours of donated time and resources, along with commitment to perfection, this past year’s event was turned into a “Camelot-like” setting when the event was moved to the fields at Burkett Park. An unbelievable feat that went way beyond what we had hoped for. We thank Mike Hall for turning Burkett Park into our Field of Dreams!.
Pat Jennette, Allegheny West Magazine - , As our own backyard historian, Pat has generously reserved space for the Chamber in each issue of “Allegheny West Magazine”, a premier magazine serving the Pittsburgh West Hills. Always generously recognizing and supporting the efforts of the Chamber and its members, she has continued to make space to showcase photos, achievements and events as a way of supporting and promoting the PAACC. Thank you for the priceless “ink” Pat! You’ve helped raise awareness in countless ways, as well as provided us with materials that have documented our progress during this time in Chamber history.
Robinson Township - Robinson Township is recognized by all as one of the “jewel” communities in the Pittsburgh West Hills. However, the real “jewels” are the people responsible for running the day to day operations of the community. When the Chamber moved Wine & Dine to Burkett Park, township officials and employees rolled up their sleeves to pitch in and help. Standing side by side the Chamber out in the field, they made sure their facilities were in top shape, and helped identify and problem solve issues that made the delivery of the event seamless! Continually going the extra mile, and always displaying a positive attitude, we remain grateful to and sincerely thank Robinson Township for helping us orchestrate an event, that without their manpower and “can-do attitude,” would not have succeeded.
