Scholarship Programs
While the chamber exists to promote the
success of existing member businesses, we must never forget that
every business, no matter how mighty, began as a humble enterprise
that, more often than not, was founded by an individual entrepreneur
with little more than an idea … and faith. It is with that
knowledge in mind that the chamber does everything it can to promote
education in the realm of business.
Established 16 years ago, the Ernest
A. Baier, Jr. Scholarship is the chamber’s program
that annually contributes $1,000 toward the educational expenses of
two qualified Business Administration students to Robert Morris
University. Deadline for the 2004 award is April 2nd.
For more information contact Sally Haas at 412-264-6270.
The Chamber also secures PFEW grants
through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in an additional
effort to encourage the study of business disciplines in higher
education.
The chamber does everything it can to insure that
the business leaders and innovators of tomorrow are already
on their way today. For additional
information on how the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce
supports education in the realm of Business, or if interested in
making a contribution towards educational funding, please contact
