In today's fast-paced business climate, it's important to continue to keep informed on the latest issues and developments affecting not only your business, but the way you DO business.  That's why the Chamber presents throughout the year a variety of programs designed to keep our members aware of what they need to know in order to continue to be successful.

  • Women's Interest Network
    Enjoy motivational, knowledgeable speakers on a variety of topics, along with an opportunity to network with other businesswomen in the area.  Meet the first Wednesday of every quarter and focus on topics relevant to Women In Business.  Topics of interest include:  Leadership, Women and Financials, Best Practices in Business, Image, Motivation, Networking and Mentoring.   View details of upcoming programs in the event calendar.

  • NTSI Safer Driver Program
    Motivate employees to improve driving by enrolling them in the NTSI Safer Driver Program.  This is the number one training program in collision prevention.  Learn more about the program. 

  • Hot Topics Summit
    This new program offering on the Chamber's agenda helps members learn first hand what key regional leaders have provided as priorities for the region and what they are doing to make them happen.  Hot Topics also allows members an opportunity to ask these leaders specific questions about projects they identify as critical to the area.

  • Dale Carnegie Training
    Cosponsored with Leadership Training Services, Inc., the Dale Carnegie Course is an excellent way to improve business and personal relationships, enhance your communication skills, discover new ways to solve problems, and much more.  

  • Breakfast Briefings
    This series of morning programs will help you gain insight from financial forecasters to political analysts.  Speakers are solicited to present on a variety of issues, usually focused on business development and legislative affairs.

  • Breaking News/BusinessLinks
    On the web or in print, here are two quick ways for you to get information.  Breaking News helps to provide members and visitors to the site with the latest coverage on news making issues occurring in the airport corridor and region.  

  • InfoStore
    You can order a variety of products and publications on line that will provide you with information on the area or resources to run your business.

    BusinessLinks is mailed out 10 times throughout the year, and strives to keep members informed of upcoming and past events.

  • Scholarship Programs
    The Chamber, in cooperation with the Lion's Club and Robert Morris University, provide an annual scholarship, the Ernest A. Baier Scholarship, to qualifying students to Robert Morris University.  Students should request information and application forms in early January by calling the Chamber at 412-264-6270.

    Additionally, the Chamber contributes to the Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week program, which assists high school students interested in attending the program the focuses on giving insight to what it takes to grow and manage a business.
