Representation and Advocacy

The Chamber is the "voice of business" for the airport area business community,  advocating on your behalf when it comes to issues that affect your bottom line on the local, state and Federal level.

By working closely with our legislators and government officials, we are able to monitor key issues that impact our businesses and community at large.

State and National Business Affiliations

The Chamber is a member of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry in Harrisburg, PA and the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC.

The Airport Area Chamber gains the benefit of the lobbying efforts in Harrisburg and Washington that are important to its members through membership in these key organizations.  When necessary, the Chamber joins with the state or national chambers to further the cause on behalf of the business community.

Local Affiliations

The Chamber also works in concert with other Chambers in the region, holding joint meetings to discuss and learn the latest updates on critical issues and to collectively establish a louder voice when needed.  Plans are underway to conduct a Congressional Outing in the near future.
